silent medication
I went to church today. As I was glancing through the bulletin I noticed that the word meditation had been misspelled and it now read medication. Silent meditation I understand but what is silent medication? Are we going to be quietly healed during this part of the service? I thought this was quite humorous. However, during the service a church member had a medical emergency and an ambulance was called. The paramedics took care of this woman as the rest of the congregation sat there and quietly prayed. Perhaps this was the silent medication that was called for in the bulletin. If one prayer is heard and answered, wouldn't many prayers offered at the same time be heard and answered, as well? The woman is recovering and is resting in the hospital. The silent medication worked. I thought there was a misspelled word in the bulletin. Now I'm not so sure.
