pride in the USA

I am spending a few days in the Cape Canaveral area visiting the space center and enjoying the beaches.  I am staying in a hotel located next to Patrick Air Force base.  Every afternoon at exactly 5 p.m. I can hear The Star Spangled Banner streaming over the sound system and I pause and place my hand over my heart and I sing the words to our national anthem.  Today I just happened to be in the parking lot standing next to my car when I stopped what I was doing and sang.  I know there was movement in the parking lot but that did not deter me.  If I looked like a "nut" to others, so be it.  Actually, I make looking like a "nut" pretty easy.  And, I'm proud of it.  And, I'm very proud to be an American.
