let the festivities begin

It's my birthday month and the fun never stops.  I am staying at my sister's house and tonight she planned and prepared a wonderful birthday dinner for me.  My sister, her husband, my nephew, my niece and her husband and their little boy (and Luna, the dog) were all here to help me celebrate another year on this planet.  And, what a meal it was!  My sister is an excellent cook and she went all out.  And, of course there were lit candles on the frozen ice cream dessert.  What a way to begin the festivities that will continue for the next few days.  Gotta love January!
