mystery solved
It is always confusing to me as a driver when there are two streets in the same city with almost identical names. Take Park Avenue and Park Street, for instance. Same city, two different locations. I was looking for a building located on Park Street but I came to Park Avenue first and since I was elated to find what I thought was my destination, I made my turn to the left and kept on driving. But, this wasn't it. I couldn't find the building no matter how far I drove so I back tracked to the main road and continued onward. About a mile or so down the road I realized that the main road I was on had merged onto Park Street and I was once again elated. That was short lived as I soon realized that somehow Park Street hung a left while I hung a ... sort of a straight (if there is such a thing). I was in an area called little five points and none of the corners lined up. Enough of this. I parked the car and walked back to little five points and realized the place I was looking for was just down the block. Mystery solved. And along the way I got a great tour of the historic section of the city. Still, I need to brush up on my orienteering skills or that merit badge will never be mine. (inside BSA joke).
