Still Safe

I just want you to know that the chocolate eggs are still sitting on the kitchen counter. Still wrapped, as they should be. Unlike some of the Christmas presents that were under our Christmas tree when I was a kid. Some of those wrappings were manually altered prior to Christmas morning. By me. I admit it. Curiosity got to me. I got caught, though. No punishment, as I recall. Just a reprimand. And Santa still filled my stocking. An orange (always), a candy cane and some little chocolate santas. I'm still resisting the chocolate eggs, though. They're safe. For now.
