Lonely No More

Gotcha lookin', didn't I? It may not be what you think, though. I stopped by Steinmart this evening. I had ripped a coupon out of the papers and I thought I might use it. It was for 15% off the purchase price on anything that is already on sale. Wow! That's the good news. However, I wasn't really in a shopping mood so I purchased nothing. Not such a bad thing. It started to rain as I walked out to the car. It was nighttime and quite dark. There weren't very many cars in the parking lot. I got in the car and started up the engine and, of course , the radio came on. The song that was playing was about halfway finished. Darn it! It is one of my favorites. Lonely No More sung by Rob Thomas. The chorus is the best. It may the Latin rhythm that I like. Or the woh-OH-oh part. Anyway, since I was just sitting there, not yet driving, I cranked up the volume and starting singing. Loudly. And with movement. Swaying back and forth. Arms flailing above my head. I became so wrapped up in the music that I failed to notice two little kids sitting in the back seat of the car parked next to me totally laughing their heads off. And their mother, too. Oh, horrors. Exposed!! What should I do? What could I do? I just smiled at them and waved. The song ended. I drove off. Laughing all the way!!! woh-OH-oh!
