Age Cut Off

My Dad bought a new shaver a couple of weeks ago. Norelco, of course. He always fills out the product registration form and sends the post card back in the mail. This time he gave the completed form to me and asked if I wanted to register the shaver for him online. I said "Of course" and took the card to my house and proceeded to register the product . I came to a huge stumbling block, though, when I attempted to fill in his birth year. The pop-up column of years only went back to 1920. Dad was born in 1917. I tried to manually enter his correct birth year but I couldn't. REJECTED!! Oh, what to do, what to do!. So I thought of just entering the year 1920 but, then again, I didn't want to invalidate the warranty. I ended up mailing the registration card with the correct birth date as was originally planned. The question is, though, does Norelco think that ninety year old men are not buying new shavers? Is it possible that they think guys this age are set for life with what they have? Do they not know that there are 90 year old men still shaving? Now my Dad has always been interested in new gadgets. And when he decides to buy something, it is generally the top of the line. His new shaver is the latest model and definitely the best that Norelco has to offer. Works like a charm. He's pleased! I'm happy. Is there an age cut off for shopping? I think not. O.K.?
