Full Moon At New Year

I stepped outside a while ago. Me and dog needed some fresh air and a little exercise. What I saw was remarkable. It was a lovely, large full moon lighting up the backyard and beyond. It was so bright it was easy to walk around without any other light. It is new years eve. The new year will be here in an hour. And there is this big, beautiful full moon hanging there in the sky. It is here now, this year, and it will still be here as the new year begins. I don't believe I have ever seen a full moon at new year. Maybe. I just don't remember. But there it is. And I'm in awe.
